Fleeting feeling of spring

There is so much I want to say about this painting


It's the first time I've painted something so big  
I'm so glad I took the time to paint it because I used to be so scared of drawing background and composition and such
I was also really bad with colors _{even though I still am and it still shows} this has been such a big improvement compared to any other art I've created  


This painting features my hanamimi OC, Lady.
What she's holding is a petal from a different cherry blossom tree ; v ; well the composition makes no sense eitherway welp

Her new outfit was designed by BabyPippo 
Even though I should be studying now, I got so inspired by it that I had to draw ; v ;


The words on the left is a cheesy japanese quote, since spring is approaching, and valentine day too,
"Even though the seasons change this feeling will remain the same."
「季節は過ぎてゆくのにこの想いは変わらぬまま」
Nothing is more beautiful than the heart of a young maiden in love
